Q: What does it cost to open a Tony Luke’s license location?

A: The total initial investment is between $170,000 and $396,000, which includes a license fee of $35,000.

Q: Do you offer financing?

A: At this time, unfortunately, we do not offer direct or indirect financing for Licensees.

Q: I don’t have prior restaurant/foodservice experience, can I still operate a Tony Luke’s?

A: Though prior experience in the restaurant industry is not required, it would certainly be helpful in the management and operation of your license. Our support team has over 30 years of combined experience to offer Licensees. Additionally, we offer a full suite of training and support options to help both emerging and established entrepreneurs develop a thriving fast-casual business.

Q: What are the royalty and advertising fees?

A: The royalty fee for a Tony Luke’s outlet is 6 percent of gross sales, while advertising fees amount to 1 percent of gross sales.

Q: Do I get protected territory?

A: We do offer protected territories, which are determined based on the density of the area in mind, as well as other factors. Typically, we will not allow a Tony Luke’s outlet to operate within a 5-mile radius of another location. Here are Tony Lukes license locations.

Q: How much money can I make operating a Tony Luke’s?
